Introduction to YE
YE is a short for Young Enterprise. Young Enterprise is a business and enterprise education for young adults operating under a license agreement. Youth Enterprise's mission statement is "to inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise". It is designed to give participating students an activity-based insight into economic and business life.
SVian Enterprise, is a company under the Young Enterprise program where the members are Form 4 students of SMK Seksyen 5 Wangsa Maju.
Our company is sponsored by STATS ChipPAC Ltd, a leading service provider of semiconductor packaging design, bump, probe, assembly, test and distribution solutions. Its corporate headquarters are located in Singapore. The purpose of a sponsor company is to help to provide practical opportunities for students to gain an understanding of the role of an entrepreneur.
The Young Enterprise program is introduced by AMCHAM Malaysia. The American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce) is an international, non-profit, private-sector business association. This program is introduced in 1989 to enable Malaysian Form 4 students to become entrepreneurs, by creating and managing their own companies.
About Our Company
sVian is a name inherited by our school's YE company last year. sVian stands for Section 5, named after our school. As you can see in our logo, the pair of wings defines our company soaring high and achieving with flying colours, the V establishes us reaching towards infinity, the chain circulating it unites us all members together to be one company that works as a team.
